Pros
- + Superior storm performance among ultralight options
- + More interior headroom than competitors at this weight
- + Single large vestibule well designed for gear storage
- + Fast setup in variable conditions
Cons
- − Slightly heavier than Copper Spur UL2
- − Single vestibule means one side gets wet gear
- − Condensation management requires careful ventilation in still air
Colorado Monsoon Test
We picked the worst possible window for testing — Colorado's July-August monsoon season — and the Tiger Wall passed with distinction. Afternoon thunderstorms rolled in four days in a row on the Colorado Trail, and we stayed dry each time. The fly extends lower than the Copper Spur's, covering the gap between fly and floor that can become a spray problem in sideways rain.
Interior Space
For two people and two nights of gear, the Tiger Wall is genuinely livable. The single vestibule is larger than it looks in photos and handles two packs and wet gear without forcing you to choose.
